Arundel Castle Abseil

On Friday 28th September 2018, 6 of our employees took part in a charity abseil 180ft down the iconic Bake House Tower at Arundel Castle to raise money for Chestnut Tree House, our company charity of the year.  Kevin, Bertrand, Hannah, Jodie, Jacques and Sam all felt apprehensive before they began their descent down the tower.  However, they all did brilliantly and made it to the bottom in no time and feel extremely proud of their achievement.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s hospice covering East and West Sussex and South East Hampshire.  They care for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-shortening conditions.  It currently costs well over £3.5m each year for Chestnut Tree House to provide all the care services.  Families are never charge for their care and less than 7p in every pound is funded by the Government, so they rely heavily on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.

We raised an amazing total of £2,064.78 and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who generously donated for this fantastic cause.  If you would still like to support our fundraising efforts for Chestnut Tree House, please visit our Just Giving Page and make a contribution: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/herbert-scott2
